Founded at September 1, 1883, when it begins to run with 79 pupils and two teachers. First place was in a beer house, then it moved in "Bacleseanu" Houses. Start up to actual building was in 1890, and was finalized in 1892.
Technique, economical and administrative university college
It was founded in 1991, running into the University of Craiova, with faculty form of organization and degree.
The college has four profiles: economic (accounting and finance administration, commercial and travel units leading), administrative - secretary (local administration, secretary and office), mechanical (materials and defectoscopy), naval (fluvial navigation and transport), socio - psihopedagogy (higher teacher).
